ALPHA
Introducing Alpha
Alpha is a ten-week course designed specifically for people who would like to investigate and discuss the Christian faith. The Alpha Course provides a safe and non-threatening environment to ask questions about life, faith, and God.
Who is Alpha for?
The Alpha Course is for everyone- regardless of religious or spiritual background. It's especially geared for those who would not call themselves a Christian and who don't regularly attend church. It's also for those who simply want to learn the basics of the Christian faith.
What happens at Alpha?
Dinner- Each evening begins with a delicious dinner. It's a great chance to unwind from the day and get to know other people.
The Talk- Each week we will present a thought-provoking talk on various issues relevant to the Christian faith, including: Is Christianity Relevant Today? Can there be any certainty in faith? Why is there so much pain and suffering in the world? Is there historical evidence to support Christianity? Is the Bible trustworthy? What about other religions? And more...
Table Time- After the talk there is a relaxed and non-pressurized time to discuss any questions or issues raised from the evening's topic. This provides an opportunity to get to know each other and learn together.
When and where is the Alpha Course?
The next Alpha Course will begin in September 2, 2008.
All Alpha events will be held at RiverStone: corner of Barrett Parkway and Stilesboro Road. 2005 Stilesboro Road, Kennesaw, GA 30064. The evening begins at 6:15 and ends at 8:55.
